Yeah, that's the kind of mood I'm in with this MFing snow here in Chicago. We were well on our way to what felt like a late spring. And then it snowed today and we have at least four inches of snow on the ground. That's just downright mean. Mother Nature is being a total c**t. I really, really hate winter.
(As an aside, I know a lot of women who have a problem with that word. I, personally, do not. I tend to keep it in my back pocket as it's much more meaningful when only used occasionally.)
Driving down to visit mom and dad tomorrow. They want Baby C there for Easter, which is fine by us. I want to be careful however. Jewish boys don't hunt Easter Eggs and all.
Last week I went out and cut my hair. I mean, CUT my hair. As I drove to the salon, my style was a bob mid-way between earlobe and shoulder. On the way home, only the front part dipped below my earlobe. Everything else is above and flippy and funky and fun. I forgot how much I love short hair. I thought Baby C would flip when he saw it. However, I walked in and he totally ignored it. I never know what to expect from that kid.
My Tivo went mad tonight. B and I got a sitter and went out to Katsu for dinner. We came home and there were seven Dora's recorded, five Diegos, a dozen Teletubbies, but no SOUP. And no In Treatment. WTF, Tivo?
Baby C is talking up a storm. Wow, that is a lot of fun. Also, it's amazing how early they start giving you shit. He's 26 months and I'm already getting lip. "No like!" Love it!

He sounds so cute! Can't wait to see another picture of him soon!
Love it that he's talking so much! What does he think of the snow? Once he starts enjoying it more, you "might" not mind it as much, (then you'll just mind the wet dirty snow suits). Have a good trip! Be safe! Hugs to you all! Oh yes, How are you going to keep him from hunting eggs? (you could just tell him its a game, but with no real meaning). Good luck.

the last time I got my hair cut, I told Mandy, "I think I'm going to have it all cut off, but let's keep it longer one more month for warmth." She just cut off 2 inches as a starter. I found a photo of me when Clara turned 1 and I'm getting mine like that. Let's burn our hairdryers together! I'm just going to tell her, whatever you do, don't make me look like Victoria Beckham.
