Well, November is over and I feel the need to do some form of penance for my missing out on the last quarter of NaBloPoMo. So maybe I'll do a post a day for the month of December.
There's not much I care to say about my hiatus except depression is a bitch and thank gawd for meds.
Now that I'm back among the living, I'm feeling the need to find a new tv show to watch. Everyone raves about Grey's Anatomy and House. I think I'll tivo them both to see what I think. I'm so bummed about the past few episodes of The Office. Last night's especially sucked, IMHO. B kept screeching, "TURN IT OFF!!! I CAN'T WATCH IT!!!!" But I've never been able to choose not watch the end of something no matter how badly it's sucking wind. So, I kept watching and afterward we were like, "Who in the fuck wrote that?" We knew it wasn't B.J. Novak. He writes all of the best eps. And so I scanned back and it was co-written by Ricky Gervais. WTF? I LOVE him and the British version of the Office. But they are two very different shows and maybe he just doesn't work for the American audience. I don't know, but I wish that every character from the other office would leave except for Ed Helms. Although, if his character leaving would result in him going back to the Daily Show, I'd be game for that.
Hm. Franz Ferdinand is on Austin City Limits. Odd.
B is out tonight, so I just ordered a pizza and am going to watch The Breakup. I have very low hopes. I'm also going to finish the shrug I've been knitting forever.
Hah! Franz Ferdinand doing Michael. LOVE IT! They are older than I thought they were. Fun song.
Been reading more Didion lately. Wrapping up Slouching Toward Bethlehem. I liked the first half more than the second. I've got March sitting on my nightstand, but I'm not feeling it. I didn't really know what it was before I bought it.
